All of my girlfriends will be proud that I am getting more and more into football, very uncharacteristic of me. My cousin Clint, his wife Vickie and their daughter Jessica came up from Orlando to visit the Alabama campus and look at the girls soccer team for a college prospect for Jessica and to go to the San Jose State game. Since they were going to be in town my parents decided to come over and my cousin Jimmy and his friend Patrick joined the party from New Orleans. We had a great long weekend. Yummy bloody Mary's at Mary's house followed by some good appetizers at my house. I could only handle appetizers, I can't cook for that many people!!! Of course the obligatory out of town guest walk down Jemison Trail, beautiful as always.
The next weekend we watched the game at our house, I am so proud of my mom for getting into the spirit yet again!
