Sante Fe and Taos

On our way out to Yosemite for George's brother's wedding we stopped in Sante Fe and Taos. We spent a night and a day in Sante Fe and ate a ton of yummy Mexican food then we headed to Taos to visit with George's family. His great Aunt Kathy and Uncle Charlie took us to an amazing dinner overlooking Taos, the views were incredible and it was so fun to meet this side of the family. The first picture is of George's dad and cousin David with Aunt Cathy, Uncle Charlie, and Annie (George's mom).
David (Aunt Cathy's son) and I. He is so sweet. It was my birthday while we were out there and he is a photographer and had a booth at one of the local art fares that we went to and he let me pick out any picture I wanted! He also gave one to Mac and Julie for their wedding gift. This side of the family is very talented. David's brother, Pat, is also an artist and we visited his gallery.
We stayed with Pat and his wife Carmen and there house was amazing. It was very cottage-like with tons of yard art, a trampoline, hot tub, and tons of artwork and nick-nacks plastered throughout the house. Here is the hot pink metal spiral staircase leading up into our room, how cute!!
